The Elzetta Standard AVS Lens for High Output AVS Heads is 7/8″ thick solid acrylic.  It provides a perfect balance of throw and spill for most applications.  The Total Internal Reflection (TIR) Lens produces a soft-edge beam that cannot be duplicated by mere reflectors (see Elzetta’s blog post on Beam Projection for more detailed lens information).  Also fits Bones Flashlights.
