Revolutionary Engineering yielding a very clean break.
As background I am an experienced handgun and Patrol Rifle instructor. I was motivated to try the ELF trigger after videos and reviews explained the engineering behind it. Ball bearing pivot points – genius. I chose the service in lieu of the lighter match version since it was going on an 11 1/2″ SBR. But can you feel it? I did.
As you apply pressure to the single stage duty weight trigger there is no movement until – a crisp, clean break. No creep grit or anything.
$250-ish puts this trigger against solid competition. I have LaRue MBTs on 2 rifles, had an AR Gold, and have used Geisselle SSA-E. To be fair those are 2 stage and this is a single. The quality is every bit their equal. I found it better than a JARD single I had and equal to a Jewel on my custom Stiller Action Bolt Action 6.5×47 build.
To me what makes the ELF stand out is, according to the manufacturer’s video, the user can change parts on it . You may change the trigger from straight to curve or hammer for different weight.
